Decided to come here after trying Haitian food from a different restaurant for the first time… and if I must say this was very disappointing!! I paid $13 for this platter, 3 small pieces of chicken and so much rice. It wasn’t terrible but wasn’t the best. The food was bland compared to what I originally tried. I will not be returning

(This is my previous review that I posted in yelp) This place is VERY dirty but hey they were just getting my business because the food is decent. They lost me when they charged me 15 Dollars to use my card.... A FIFTEEN DOLLAR FEE to use my card. If it wasn't for the fact that I was starving and was already late on my lunch break for work I would've left the food right there and walked out. Place lost a good customer, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. This is your spot if you enjoy 1-POOR customer service 2-being swarmed with flies 3-being surrounded in filth. Everything is literally disgusting and covered in dirt but go and see for yourself. The way the scam ppl you'd think they could remodel. Hopefully they get a visit from health inspector because how can they operate

So the ladies at the back are great. They don't speak much English, so if you go speaking English they won't really understand. But, the man in the front speaks English. Now the man at the front he appears nice, but I think he makes up prices based off how he is feeling at the moment. Because I normally get the something each time I go. Down to the size of the platter, and the food in the platter. So the price should be the same, because I get the same thing each time I go. Some days I pay $18.00, some days I pay $20.00 and recently I paid $22.00. When I asked him why it was a different prices, he got very spicy with me. That was the last time I went there. My boyfriend is Haitian, so the next time I go back he will be with me. If he can't go with me I won't be go.
